ANNUAL SPRING RECITAL INFORMATION

Our yearly Spring Recital (Beginner Level A through Level B2) will be held on Sunday, April 28th at the Carver Museum Boyd Vance Theatre in east Austin at 1165 Angelina Street.  Dancers will need to arrive by 1:00, with the performance beginning at 2:00 pm.  There are no recital or costume fees, and tickets are $15 per person with a limit of 3 tickets per performing student.  Costumes will be provided by the school and ready at the theatre.  Dancers should arrive in their regular classroom attire, with hair and makeup ready before arrival.

Please note that our Saturday Pre-Ballet students will have an in-house performance during their regular class time on the last Saturday of the semester (Saturday, May 25th).  Costumes will be provided by the school, and ready at the school the day of the show. Open to students’ families, there are no tickets required for this showing.

 

SUMMER INTENSIVE UPDATE

Please note that the dates of our Summer Intensive have changed.  The intensive is now scheduled from Monday, June 10th through Thursday, June 13th.  More details here soon!

 

SPRING SEMESTER INFORMATION

Our Spring Semester continues through the end of May (May 31st).  We will offer our regular schedule of classes through the summer months as well (with the exception of Contemporary Class).

NEW CLASS ON FRIDAYS:

In response to student requests, we are adding a Variations class on Fridays from 6:45-7:45.  Currently, this class is open to levels B1 and B2 only.  To attend, enrollment is required through the end of the semester (May 31st).  The extra class cost should be rolled into the regular monthly tuition as one additional weekly class, and cannot be substituted for another required weekly Technique or Pointe class.

SPRING BREAK—School Closed:

The school will be closed the entire week of March 18th for Spring Break.  Students missing classes may schedule make-up classes, which can be used anytime through the end of April.  (Monthly tuition will not be prorated for Spring Break.)

OBSERVATION WEEK:

During the last week of March (week of March 25th), parents are welcome to come in and observe any class in which their child is enrolled.

Saturday, June 1st:  No Saturday class (Summer classes begin June 3rd)

SUMMER INTENSIVE:

We will be having the school’s first-ever Summer Intensive the week of June 10th-13th during the day from 10:30-2:15 (regular evening classes will still be in session.)  More details coming soon!

 

WINTER INTENSIVE IN SAN ANTONIO

Ms. Jennifer had a wonderful time over the holidays guest teaching at the Winter Workshop for the Ballet Conservatory of South Texas in San Antonio. The students all did a great job, and thanks to the lovely staff for a fun and productive visit! http://balletconservatory.org

NEW LOCATION!

After 15 wonderful years at our current location on Burnet Road, we have moved to a great new location!  Starting Monday, November 5th, classes will be held at the Mesa West Center (just west of Northcross Mall) at 7756 Northcross Drive, Austin TX, 78757.

CONTEMPORARY CLASS

Beginning in September 2018, we are once again offering Contemporary classes with instructor Ashley Garcia-Rameau. The class will focus on Intermediate-level modern/contemporary technique and choreography.  Please contact the school for more information regarding enrollment.
