ONLINE CLASS UPDATE AS OF APRIL 1ST
Today we start up classes online! It will be a learning curve for everyone, so we ask for patience in the instance of any technical glitches (none are anticipated). Dancers, remember to mute your own microphone output so that you can hear the instructor, but they cannot hear you. Please note that due to a scheduling feature within Zoom which is not currently functional, we will only be able to send out links to class on the same day as each class. This will be done several hours in advance of each class. Please check your email each day you have a scheduled class for that day’s class link. We all can’t wait to be back in class, and look forward to moving again!
ONLINE CLASS UPDATE (PLEASE ENROLL BEFORE APRIL 1ST)
REMINDER: Enrollment is per month for each level, with the exception of private classes. Be sure to enroll before your first scheduled class in April so you do not miss any classes.
Just checking in to let everyone know that we are working on being up and running on Zoom by Wednesday, April 1st! If you are a student of the school, once you have enrolled online in your usual class level please email us, and we will provide you with your class meeting codes to join your class on Zoom. All enrollment and payment is on our website at austinclassicalballet.com on the Online Classes page. Please contact us by email at email@example.com once you have enrolled, and we will keep you fully informed on how to proceed. Excited to be back in class soon..!
APRIL CLASS SCHEDULE/INFORMATON NOW AVAILABLE
Hello dancers! Please visit our website’s “Online Classes” page (listed in the drop-down menu) to look at our new online class schedule for April! (Please do not attempt to enroll before Monday, March 30th, as things are still in the process of going online.) We are so excited to get everyone moving again…stay tuned for more information. Classes starting April 1st!
ONLINE CLASSES STARTING APRIL 1ST
UPDATE: In light of the current shelter-in-place directive from the City of Austin, and in the interest of prioritizing the health of students and their families, our school will remain closed through April 30th. However, we are pleased to announce that starting April 1st, online classes will be made available to all of our students in Beginner Level A through Level B2 (no Pre-Ballet, Contemporary or Variations classes). Our online classes will follow the regular class schedule closely, with the same start times, and classwork adjusted to be workable from home in a small space on any type of flooring. The classes will focus on conditioning, stretching, and maintenance of basic technique, as well as pointe technique. Furthermore, a daily private class schedule will be offered for serious students seeking continued one-on-one correction. We will have full details regarding the April schedule and enrollment process posted here no later than Monday, March 30th. We know our dancers are excited to get moving again! And as always, we wish everyone continued health and well-being. Stay posted, and please do visit the WHO website for accurate and updated information on the virus at http://www.who.int.
