SCHOOL CLOSED AUG. 1ST-9TH
SUMMER BREAK: Please note that our school will not hold classes from August 1st through 9th due to a short summer break. Our online classes resume on Monday, August 10th. Stay tuned here for more information on our upcoming fall semester!
We’re happy to announce that our full schedule of Zoom classes will still be available for the month of July! All of the dancers are doing a fantastic job, and showing impressive and ongoing improvement. We will also continue to offer a limited schedule of in-studio one-on-one private lessons (adhering to all currently recommended safety standards, including masks and social distancing). If you are interested in private coaching, please contact the school directly for a schedule. Wishing everyone health and happiness as we forge ahead with optimism through summer!
PRIVATE LESSONS NOW AVAILABLE
Though we continue to hold all group classes online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, beginning in June we will open the studio for a limited schedule of one-on-one private lessons. These lessons will be conducted using face masks, sanitation and strict social distancing to protect both the student and the instructor. The times available will not interfere with our online schedule, and are as follows:
Mon.-Fri. 1:30-2:30, and Saturday 2:00-3:00
Because only one lesson is available per day, we ask that you email the school with your scheduling preferences, and times will then be assigned based on demand/availability so that all students have an equal opportunity. Once you are scheduled, you may visit the “Online Classes” page on the school website to purchase your lesson, which should be paid in advance (please give a 24 hour notice for cancellation). After scheduling, a detailed list of instructions will be sent to you regarding the new in-studio safety requirements. If you wish to remain online only for your lessons, you may still schedule an online private lesson instead. Feel free to contact the school with any additional questions!
MAKING A BARRE FOR AT-HOME USE
Hello, dancers! It’s been going great so far with our online classes, and everyone is working hard and doing very well. Congratulations to everyone for staying strong and making the most out of a difficult situation! Also, a parent shared this helpful link about making a barre for at-home use easily and inexpensively. Check it out!

ONLINE CLASSES STARTING APRIL 1ST
UPDATE: In light of the shelter-in-place directive from the City of Austin, and in the interest of prioritizing the health of students and their families, our school will remain closed for the foreseeable future . However, we are pleased to announce that starting April 1st, online classes will be made available to all of our students in Beginner Level A through Level B2 (no Pre-Ballet, Contemporary or Variations classes). Our online classes will follow the regular class schedule closely, with the same start times, and classwork adjusted to be workable from home in a small space on any type of flooring. The classes will focus on conditioning, stretching, and maintenance of basic technique, as well as pointe technique. Furthermore, a daily private class schedule will be offered for serious students seeking continued one-on-one correction.
